4-73 Centrifugal Fan

Flat-Blade Backward Inclined Centrifugal Fan, SWSI

Application

The 4-73 Centrifugal Fan is designed to handle large volumes of relatively clean air at low to moderate pressures in applications such as:

  • HVAC systems
  • Combustion air supply
  • Filtration and drying systems
  • Fume hood and spray booth exhaust
  • Air pollution control (clean side of dust collectors)
  • Various industrial ventilation processes

Impeller Construction

Impellers are made of steel with flat single-thickness blades, solidly welded to the rim and backplate. The inlet-side rim is properly shaped to match the inlet cone. All impellers are statically and dynamically balanced to grade BV3 per AMCA 204 for smooth operation. Final balancing is done after the entire rotating assembly is completed.

Fan Housing

All 4-73 fan housings are continuously welded and reinforced with rigid bracing to ensure structural integrity. Support angles are intermittently welded and caulked between welds to prevent bleed-through corrosion.

Sizes (Impeller Diameter)

12.25 to 98.25 inches (315 mm to 2,500 mm)

Performance

Airflow up to 277,500 CFM (471,500 m³/hour)
Static pressure up to 20 inches w.g. (4,970 Pa)
